What do I need to do before the training starts?
A login to the DVA-University will be issued via email from [email protected] so you can access your courses for the Data Vault 2.1 training. Please check your spam folder if this does not come through.
There are over 15 hours of online tutorials, videos, and quizzes you are required to watch prior to the live (instructor-led) training, as they form a foundation in preparation for the course coming up.
You should plan with approximately 3 days to complete them.
Where can I find the preparation videos on DVA?
Log in to https://dvauniversity.com/ using the credentials that were sent to you upfront.
Go to “My Courses” and see the complete list of videos and quizzes you are enrolled on.
When will I receive the login for the DVA?
Look out for and test your access to the pre-course content on the DVA-University https://dvauniversity.com/.
This will be sent to you via email from [email protected] approximately 3-4 weeks before the live (instructor-led) training starts.
From whom will I receive the login for the DVA?
You will receive the login from: [email protected]
Are digital training materials available?
Yes, you can download the course materials in the section “My Courses” from https://dvauniversity.com/.
What if I didn’t receive an invitation email from the DVA?
If you don’t receive emails from the DVA, the emails are most probably being blocked in your company. Check the help page on the DVA platform and act as advised there.
Certification
When do I get the login information for the certification?
You have to complete the live (instructor-led) training and all videos, quizzes and practice exams in the DVA University first. Afterwards, a login will be issued in a separate email from [email protected] with your individual login to classmarker.com.
Technical preparations
Are there any technical devices I need for the training?
Online training: You need to be able to use Zoom. Please check before the training if your webcam and microphone are working properly.
We highly recommend switching on the webcam and the microphone for a full training experience.
How do I enter the Zoom meeting again after technical difficulties?
With the link you received approximately one week before the training, you can log in again to the Zoom meeting.
Travel
Is hotel accommodation included?
No, you have to book and pay for your accommodation separately.

Do I need to read any training materials beforehand?
The preparation videos and quizzes are the only prerequisite for the live training.
